How does V-Mac work?

V-Mac acts like a very powerful prepaid card service. It is a so called "card-less system". Actually the plastic card does not really exist. The system generates a new virtual card for each of your payment transaction. The card suddenly expires after usage or after a very short time.

This procedure makes any card cloning attempt useless.

How do I proceed if I want to buy a bag saw in a shop? Using my mobile I will ask and obtain in real time, through the V-Mac security center, a virtual credit card number for the amount I need. I can now enter the code in the POS or on the shop web site. That code will expire right after the usage and become unusable.

I can transfer money to another user, on his V-Mac account or by ATM with a virtual credit card number like in the previous example. The V-Mac card-less system allows you by the only mean of a mobile phone (other than internet and landline phones) to perform your everyday money transactions in the most secure way.
